The Cardigan

The Cardigan is the true story of a friend of mine, the author Chris Curley. The book relates the story of Chris who suffered from Dyslexia as a young man. This left Chris who is a master carpenter feeling frustrated. He decided to do something about it and joined an adult learning class. His project was to write a short story about something close to his heart. His wife bought him a cardigan from a jumble sale and Chris said he would never been seen dead in it, however he fell in love with it and it became a battle between him and his wife to keep it because she had a change of heart and decided it was scruffy.

A story of warmth

Cardigans are like friends. Some we wear for warmth and some for show. Chris's book is a story of warmth.
