The books are A5 size but individual crosswords could be enlarged as appropriate.
Book 2 concentrates mainly on 2-letter spelling patterns which include a vowel (e.g. ai, or, ou).
There are usually two crosswords for each of the spelling patterns and extra ones on single vowels and silent 'e'.
The patterns covered are: oo, ee, ar, or, oy, oi, aw, au, ay, ai, oa, ou, ow, ir, ur, air/are, ea, ie/ei
