Library Chat

The Chatabout reading group is run by Judith Robinson and Olivia Barnden at Heckmondwike library in North Kirklees. 

The group meet every Thursday afternoon in the library and all the ladies are mums from a local school. The group is run as a reading/conversation/craft group and Judith and Olvia have worked with the local school to recruit the group members.

Judith says, "Every week they do book based activities, and all the ladies have really enjoyed the Gatehouse books and book packs which you produce. We have read and discussed the stories as a group, the ladies like to borrow the books and Olivia and I have also developed some simple worksheets linked to the books."
