Everyday Spelling is a workbook providing practice in some of the basics of spelling. Many of the words most commonly used in everyday reading and writing are included, and there are 12 special practice pages. 6 deal with form-filling and 6 cover the spelling of days, months, numbers and common greetings. There is plenty of repetition and there are 2 revision pages for each half of the book. Some of the practice pages offer students the chance to identify their own particular spelling needs, such as name and address; names of their family; words to do with work. An index is included and an A4 sheet of blank cheques (for photocopying) accompanies each book.
Exercise sections cover: name and address; key words; b/d; question words; vowels; days and months; numbers; cheques; silent letters; notes and messages; c/g; alphabet; double letters; basic punctuation.
